Whether you’re just starting out in Schedule 1, or you’re a seasoned mogul wanting to make some more money quickly, there are plenty of ways to earn more cash. Ultimately, money will be the deciding factor in the expansion of your empire, so it’s the most vital objective.
We’ve got a list of the most efficient ways to make money fast in Schedule 1, whether you stick to legitimate ways, or use things like the infinite money glitch to your advantage. Make sure to check our list of Schedule 1 cheats and console commands for the money cheat, if that’s your thing.
Firstly, you’ll want to always charge more than the customer offers. Whether that’s by a couple of dollars, or even as much as $30 more, you can push your luck with most clientele. That small margin of profit becoming wider will net you easier money faster, especially in the early game. Similarly, by underdelivering, you can save a few dollars of manufacturing cost. Be careful with this, as customers will begin to have a negative opinion of you, affecting your reputation. It’s usually safer to underdeliver by one or two bags to customers who place large orders. This makes your product go further, and increases your overall profit margin.
If you’re really trying to keep costs down, consider not recruiting dealers until it’s absolutely necessary. They each have a sign-up fee, which increases the more dealers you have working for you, but they also take a pretty hefty 20% cut of the profit on anything they sell for you. While you have a smaller client base, it’s absolutely possible to deliver everything yourself, especially if you’re playing with friends in Schedule 1 multiplayer mode.
There’s also the Schedule 1 infinite money glitch, although at the time of writing it only works in the demo version of the game, and not the early access release. Basically, if you’re playing the paid-for version of Schedule 1, this likely won’t work for you. If you’re playing the demo though, here’s how to do the infinite money glitch:
- On your PC’s search bar, type ‘run’
- Type %appdata%
- Navigate to the LocalLow file and select TVGS
- Open the Free Sample folder
- Select your save
- Scroll to the Money.json file, right click it, and edit it in Notepad
- Change the Online Balance and Network figures to your desired amounts
- Save the file
Opening the game after completing the above steps will see a vast increase in your bank balance, to whichever figures you chose above.
You may also have noticed the in-game casino. If you’re partial to a bit of gambling, it’s always worth taking your hard-earned cash to the blackjack table. The casino opens at 4 PM and closes at 5 AM, giving you a nice 11-hour window during which you have the potential to double your bet each time you play a game of blackjack.
Finally, and most effectively, if you go to Bleuball’s Boutique you can purchase gold bars for $10,000 each. Of course, this requires a substantial initial investment, but it’s worthwhile. Then, take the gold bars to the pawn shop near the motel, where Mick will buy your gold bars for more than their initial purchase price. You can barter with Mick to get a better price if you keep a close eye on his temper meter. Start by offering around $5,000 more than his offer, as you can continue to increase your counter-offer until he declines for the first time. After this, go back to an amount he previously accepted, and complete the deal.
