Studio Ghibli fans can get the recently released Film Comic adaptations of two of the Hayao Miyazaki’s most beloved movies for their best prices yet. Spirited Away’s All-in-One Edition Film Comic is available for only $26 (was $35) thanks to a limited-time deal at Amazon. Released in late February, the 856-page hardcover omnibus collects all five of the out-of-print volumes of the direct comic book adaptation of Studio Ghibli’s most popular animated movie. Meanwhile, Kiki’s Delivery Service Film Comic: All-in-One Edition has dropped to just $20 (was $30) at Amazon.
Individual volumes in the Studio Ghibli Film Comic series are hard to find for reasonable prices, but the newly issued All-in-One Editions offer a budget-friendly solution for this issue. Check out all four of these full-color hardcovers below.
$27.90 (was $30)
My Neighbor Totoro’s Film Comic: All-in-One Edition is also 584 pages and collects all five volumes into a single hardcover book. This is the book that kicked off the All-in-One Edition omnibus series last August, but it has yet to receive a substantial discount.
$30 | Releases July 22

Ponyo Film Comic: All-in-One Edition is currently slated for publication on July 22. The hardcover compiles the four previously released trade paperbacks in one 592-page book. It is currently priced at its $30 MSRP, but if you preorder now and Amazon offers a discount before release, your total will automatically be adjusted to reflect the lower price when you are charged.
These graphic novels are notable because they use the original film animation cells for illustrations. They’ve all been rearranged and reformatted to look like comic book and manga panels with full-color illustrations.
For anyone who adores the art direction of Studio Ghibli movies, these books offer a pretty great way to “pause” a film so that you can focus on the smaller details of these beautifully animated stories. Because these comics use original cells and illustrations from the movies, they really can be viewed as reasonably priced art books, too.
Hopefully Howl’s Moving Castle, which also has a Film Comics series, will receive the All-In-One treatment next.

If you want to rewatch the films before reading the Film Comics, the Limited Edition Steelbook series of Ghibli movies is definitely worth checking out. We’ve put together a list of the collectible editions of Ghibli films you can get for retail price or less at Amazon, including Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Ponyo for $19 or less.
Last summer, The Boy and the Heron became the first Studio Ghibli film to release on 4K Blu-ray. The steelbook version is discounted to $30 and comes with 4K and standard Blu-ray discs. This summer, the 1989 Studio Ghibli film Grave of the Fireflies will receive a new Limited Edition Steelbook with a visual aesthetic that is similar to The Boy and the Heron.
