Fortnite is gearing up for the new Star Wars: Galactic Battle season on May 2, and now Epic Games and Disney are offering players a free First Order Stormtrooper skin ahead of the big crossover. There’s also a Star Wars Watch Party happening and a free Asajj Ventress loading screen you can earn.
From now until August 31, you can unlock the First Order Stormtrooper outfit in Fortnite by connecting your Epic and MyDisney accounts. You don’t even need to have Disney+ subscription. This is for the MyDisney account, which is free to sign up for.
To link your account follow the steps below:
- Sign into your Epic account
- On the Epic Games account page, go to the Apps and Accounts section
- Click “Connect” on the MyDisney Account option. You’ll be directed to the MyDisney website to continue the process.
After account linking, your First Order Stormtrooper will be waiting for you in your locker on Fortnite. This is a pretty sweet Star Wars skin that doesn’t cost you a single V-Buck.
Fortnite is also hosting a Star Wars Watch Party island on May 2, starting at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET to showcase the first two episodes of the new Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld animated series ahead of the big debut on Disney+.
You can find the Star Wars Watch Party island in the row of experiences you see after logging into Fortnite, or you can also use the magnifying glass in the top-left of the screen to search the island using the code 2124-6713-8076. Once on the island, you simply take a seat and enjoy the show. After watching both episodes, you’ll get the Asajj Ventress loading screen in Fortnite within 72 hours. Epic says the island will be live until May 11.
