Apex Legends Season 25: Prodigy is live, and in addition to a new playable Legend and loads of meta changes, the new season has also brought with it a battle pass full of gold-plated, gem-encrusted cosmetics that are guaranteed to make you stand out from the crowd.

But the new season doesn’t just mean new content–Prodigy’s launch has also unearthed a piece of Apex Legends history: Arenas Mode. The long-awaited return of Arenas means you’ll be getting up close and personal with enemy combatants, and the Prodigy battle pass is packed with luxurious, eye-catching cosmetics that will ensure your victims get an eyeful of haute couture any time you hit them with a finisher.

The Prodigy battle pass has four tiers: Free, Premium, Ultimate, and Ultimate+. Keep reading for an up-close-and-personal look at all the fashionable skins and useful currencies included in each battle pass tier, along with a price breakdown that will help you get the most bang for your buck when deciding which tier to purchase.

Free battle pass

The free tier of the Prodigy battle pass is, obviously, available free of charge, and you don’t need to do anything to gain access to it–the loot automatically unlocks as you earn XP by playing matches and finishing challenges. The free battle pass has the least to offer in terms of loot, but if you’re on the hunt for Heirloom Shards, it’s still worth completing for the free Apex Packs it provides. The free tier of the Prodigy battle pass also includes some Apex Coins (AC) and a good number of cosmetic items.

Players who finish the free battle pass will earn a total of:

• 9 cosmetic items
• 200 AC
• 7 Apex Packs

Premium battle pass

The Premium-tier Prodigy battle pass can be unlocked for 950 AC (about $10 USD). The premium version of the battle pass includes both Epic- and Legendary-tier loot, and completing it will earn you back 1,300 AC, which you can then spend on the game’s next battle pass, premium cosmetics from the in-game store, or Collection Event cosmetics. The Premium Prodigy battle pass includes 60 unlockable levels featuring cosmetic rewards, Apex Packs (including Epic- and Legendary-tier Apex Packs), Music Packs, Stat Trackers, Banner Frames, Transition Screens, and some of Apex’s various in-game currencies.

Players who complete the Premium-tier Prodigy battle pass will earn a total of:

• 54 cosmetic items
• 1,300 AC
• 1,200 Crafting Metals
• 14 Apex Packs
• 10 Exotic Shards

Ultimate battle pass

The Ultimate Prodigy battle pass is available for direct purchase for $10 USD, but AC cannot be used to buy it. This tier is identical to the Premium tier in terms of content and rewards, with one major change: In addition to the goodies featured in the Premium tier, players who purchase the Ultimate tier will also gain access to the following extra rewards instantly upon purchase:

• 1 Legendary Apex Pack
• 2 Epic Apex Packs
• 5 Rare Apex Packs
• 1,200 Crafting Metals

Ultimate+ battle pass

The Ultimate+ tier of the Prodigy battle pass is available for $20 USD, and like the Ultimate tier, it must be directly purchased with cash, not AC. This tier’s best feature is the pair of exclusive Legend skins it includes. The Ultimate+ Prodigy battle pass includes the Legendary-tier Haute Hunter Vantage skin and the Legendary-tier Angel Armor Valkyrie skin. Including these shiny, gilded new Legend skins, players who purchase and complete the Ultimate+ tier of the Prodigy battle pass will earn a total of:

• 56 cosmetic items
• 1,300 AC
• 1,200 Crafting Metals
• 14 Apex Packs
• 20 Exotic Shards

In addition to the goodies mentioned above, the Ultimate+ battle pass includes the same instantly unlocked bonus items as the Ultimate tier along with two extra treats: an instant, 10-level battle pass boost and the ability to play every Legend in the game for the duration of the battle pass–even if you haven’t permanently unlocked them all yet. This makes the Ultimate+ tier ideal for new players who want to get a feel for each Legend before committing to spending Legend Tokens to permanently unlock them. Purchasing the Ultimate+ battle pass will instantly unlock the following bonus items and perks:

• 1 Legendary Apex Pack
• 2 Epic Apex Packs

It’s worth noting that you can purchase the Premium tier of the battle pass now and choose to upgrade to Ultimate or Ultimate+ later on in the season if you’re not sure you want to commit right away, but still want to benefit from the battle pass’s extremely useful XP Boosts (which are exclusive to the paid battle pass tiers). Upgrading to Ultimate or Ultimate+ will instantly refund the 950 AC you spent to purchase the Premium tier.

As with every Apex Legends battle pass, the Premium, Ultimate, and Ultimate+ tiers of the Prodigy battle pass all feature a Legendary-tier reactive weapon skin, and this season, a weapon with a very interesting backstory is getting the reactive weapon treatment. Completing any paid battle pass tier will unlock the Legendary-tier Radiance Burst reactive Nemesis skin, which features a series of animated visual effects that are triggered by killing enemies in combat.
