PAX East is an annual gaming event primarily known for showing off various projects that are scheduled to come out soon. But like other conventions such as Anime Expo and BlizzCon, people come from all walks of life to show off their latest cosplay. These creators spend countless hours putting together their cosplays and deserve to be recognized. Throughout the long weekend, we saw characters from many different video games, such as NCR Rangers from Fallout: New Vegas, Chai from Hi-Fi Rush, and a Creeper and Witch from Minecraft. The cosplays weren’t exclusive to video games, either; plenty of people dressed up as their favorite characters from popular shows like Fallout, The Legend of Vox Machina, and even Arcane.
Throughout the four-day event, we assembled a gallery of some of the best cosplays we’ve encountered, with links to the creators who had one to share.
In terms of game news, PAX East attendees were given glimpses of various upcoming releases, including 2K’s upcoming Mafia: The Old Country and From Software’s Elden Ring Nightreign. Even TCGs (Trading Card Games) like Magic: The Gathering made an appearance to show off its latest Final Fantasy collaboration. We also got a better look at Borderlands 4’s classes and some changes to co-op.
