When thinking of first-person shooters, Call of Duty is a household name that’s tough to ignore. The franchise features over two decades worth of polished shooter experiences, including a variety of military-style single-player campaigns, competitive multiplayer, co-op modes with Zombies, and even battle royale in the form of Warzone. Of course, there are plenty of great shooter games like Call of Duty we can recommend.

Other Call of Duty games lean into the futuristic and fantastical elements, such as jetpacks and specialist soldiers in Black Ops 3 and the exo suits and laser rifles of Advanced Warfare.
