EA Sports College Football 26 Cover Features Two Top Wide Receivers

After a successful first season with five million players hitting the gridiron in the first week alone, EA Sports College Football 26 will try to build on that momentum as new details are set to emerge later this week. Today, EA Sports announced the cover athletes for this year’s game, as well as a Deluxe Edition that features legends from college football’s long history.

The Standard Edition of EA Sports College Football 26 will feature Alabama’ Ryan Williams and Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, two of the top-ranked wide receivers in the country. Both players, like CFB 26, are looking to build off of successful freshman seasons, with Williams totaling 865 yards and eight touchdowns, while Smith logged 1,315 yards and 13 touchdowns for the national champion Buckeyes.

Both players also feature on the cover of the Deluxe Edition, but they’re joined by multiple legends, mascots, and other current players. Among those featured on the Deluxe Edition cover is quarterback and Florida alum Tim Tebow, running back and former USC standout Reggie Bush, and two current top running backs in Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love and Penn State’s Nick Singleton.

Both the Standard and Deluxe Editions of College Football 26 are available for preorder now. An EA Sports MVP Bundle is also available including the Deluxe Editions of both College Football 26 and Madden NFL 26, which include “three-day early access to both games plus special bonuses” according to the official website.

EA Sports College Football 26 is scheduled to launch July 10 on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Those who preorder the Deluxe Edition can access the game starting July 7.
