After Five Nights At Freddy’s proved to be a hit in 2023, it didn’t take Universal and Blumhouse long to put together Five Nights At Freddy’s 2. The upcoming sequel is still half a year away, but a new teaser pic for the film is both creepy and unsettling.
In an image shared across FNAF’s social media accounts, a close-up of Faztalker, asks a simple question: “You there?” What it doesn’t answer is who’s sending the message and why.
The Faztalker hasn’t appeared in any of the previous games yet, so we can only speculate who’s on the other side of the child’s toy.
Director Emma Tammi is returning for the sequel with a script by Scott Cawthon, the creator of Five Nights At Freddy’s. Most of the first film’s cast is slated to reprise their roles, including Josh Hutcherson as Mike Schmidt, Piper Rubio as Mike’s sister, Abby, Matthew Lillard as William Afton, and Elizabeth Lail as William’s daughter, Officer Vanessa Shelly. Hutcherson has previously teased that the sequel will have a much scarier tone than the first movie. Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 will hit theaters on December 5.
In other FNAF-related news, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando will feature Five Nights At Freddy’s as part of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at both theme parks.
