Captain America fans can get a great limited-time deal on arguably the coolest Lego set based on the iconic Marvel superhero. The 3,128-piece Lego replica of Captain America’s Shield is on sale for $160 (was $200) at Amazon. This is a limited-time deal with a set number of available units. At the time of writing, 25% of units had already been claimed. What makes this deal even more notable is that Lego retired Captain America’s Shield last November. This set is sold out at all other major retailers and is priced above its $200 MSRP by resellers.
Once fully constructed, the shield is over 18.5 inches in diameter and can be displayed upright on the buildable stand shown above. The kit also comes with a Captain America minifigure holding a small version of the shield and Thor’s hammer, along with a name placard. While most of the parts are uniform, these sorts of sets are particularly great for when you want to zone out and build in autopilot mode.
Captain America’s Shield is the largest Marvel Lego set focused on the legendary superhero, but it’s certainly not the only one. Lego launched two playsets based on Anthony Mackie’s Captain America last December. Both of those sets are available for discounts at Amazon. You can get a poseable Lego Construction Figure of Captain America for $28 (was $35) and the Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle Set for $47 (was $55).
The two playsets are based on the most recent Captain America movie, which released on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray in May. Captain America fans can get Brave New World’s Limited Edition 4K Steelbook for $41 at Amazon. There’s also a Captain America 4-Movie Collection on Blu-ray for $44.61.
