Invincible is all about superheroes absolutely pummeling each other in ludicrous blood-soaked battles, and in 2026, you’ll be able to join the fray in Invincible VS, a fighting game based on the comic series and its animated adaptation.
Skybound Games announced the title in the Xbox Games Showcase during Summer Game Fest 2025. You can check out the trailer below.

Now Playing: Invincible VS | Official Reveal Trailer | Xbox Games Showcase 2025
Invincible comes from writer Robert Kirkman, best known for The Walking Dead comic series, and like that story about survivors of a zombie apocalypse, it brings a similarly dark and dismal take to the superhero genre. The series focuses on Mark Grayson, a young superhero figuring out his place in the world as he struggles under the shadow of his father, Omni-Man–the world’s most powerful hero. Things go south, however, when it becomes obvious that Omni-Man isn’t quite the hero he appears to be, and Mark–as the superhero Invincible–chooses to stand against his father and the empire of superbeings he’s a part of.
J.K. Simmons plays Omni-Man and Steven Yeun plays Mark in the Amazon animated adaptation of Invincible, and from the trailer, it sounds like the pair are reprising their roles in the game. Other characters, like Atom Eve (played by Gillian Jacobs in the series) and Rex Splosion (voiced by Jason Mantzoukas) also appear in the trailer, so it’s possible Invincible VS could have a pretty stacked voice cast.
Invincible VS is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2026.
