Stellar Blade Is Off To A Roaring Start On PC

Stellar Blade is off to a strong start on PC, as it has blown past the 100,000-concurrent-players milestone on Steam. Only one other PlayStation-published game has reached and surpassed this number, as Helldivers 2 still holds the record of 458,709 concurrent players.

At the time of writing, Stellar Blade has reached 147,996 concurrent players, and to put that into perspective, that’s more than The Last of Us Part 2, God of War Ragnarok, and Horizon Forbidden West combined when comparing peak player-counts. At one point, it looked like the player-count for Stellar Blade would be negatively impacted due to an unknown issue that prevented it from being sold in dozens of countries, but that problem was addressed before launch.

If you’re interested in trying out this action-RPG, a Stellar Blade demo is available on Steam. You can also get a big discount on the game through Fanatical, as both the Standard and Complete Editions have been discounted. The PC version of the game includes all post-launch content added to the PS5 version since its launch in 2024, and new content like Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC is also available to purchase.

Developer Shift Up expected the game to be big on PC, and it looks like those predictions are coming true. A sequel is also in development, and it could be released as soon as 2027.

Disclosure: GameSpot and Fanatical are both owned by Fandom.
