After two months of Sabrina Carpenter, it’s time for Fortnite to move onto a new Season Icon for the summer session. Bruno Mars is the new star of Fortnite Festival, and he’s bringing with him a whole new Festival Music Pass. As with the previous passes, there are items that everyone can unlock for free, including a number of Epic Games-produced jam tracks, emotes, and musical instruments. But the real gems are locked behind the premium pass, which you can access by paying 1,400 V-Bucks or subscribing to Fortnite Crew.
Buying the pass will immediately unlock the Die With a Smile Bruno skin, with the rest of the rewards unlockable via XP that you can earn in any Fortnite experience. That skin also has an additional style at the very end of the pass as the final reward. But the most important pieces of any Fortnite Music Pass are the jam tracks, and the premium pass includes four licensed tracks. Two of them are by Bruno Mars–Bruno-San’s Theme Song, and Silk Sonic’s Leave the Door Open–and the other two are Mun Ra by Sabotage feat. Instituto, and ABC by the Jackson 5. Yes, that’s correct, Michael Jackson is making his first appearance in Fortnite with this Music Pass. Or at least the child version of the King of Pop is.
The premium Music Pass also includes a slick-looking guitar and drum kit, and there are even more instruments included for free–like a water-gun-themed guitar, and a bass that’s shaped like a boat paddle. As is always the case, the pass will also include some instrument-based emotes that make use of your equipped instruments. Scroll on to get a better look at what’s in store on the new Fortnite Festival Music Pass.
