The next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event takes place on July 9, and the company is ready to show off its latest lineup of foldable smartphones. It’s unclear exactly what will be revealed at Unpacked, though there’s a strong possibility we’ll see successors to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. We’ll also likely hear more about Galaxy AI and its implementation in the new devices. While there’s a lot we don’t know, we do know that you’ll receive $50 in Samsung Credit when you reserve the device. You’ll also get up to $1,150 in additional savings–plus a ticket in a sweepstakes with a grand prize of $5,000 Samsung Credits.
If you think you’ll be grabbing a new device later this year, reserving a unit and entering the sweepstakes is easy. Just head over to Samsung’s official website, enter your name, email, and check the box asking if you’d like to enter the sweepstakes. You can also enter your phone number (though it’s entirely optional). You’ll then have to confirm your age and state of residence before officially confirming your reservation. Note that you won’t have to put any money down, and you’re not obligated to purchase anything after placing a reservation. However, you won’t get your $50 in Samsung Credits unless you finalize your preorder following the reveal.
Samsung has been teasing several aspects of its upcoming lineup, suggesting it’ll offer new AI tools, an improved camera, a slimmer profile, and provide users with an “Ultra-experience.” Based on the livestream’s “Ultra Unfolds” title, it’s fair to assume that it’ll be a new foldable Ultra phone. The official reveal will take place on July 9 at 10:00 AM ET.
Considering the new smartphone is likely to be quite expensive (as are all foldables), the extra $50 for reserving it could help you pick up accessories like a new case or earbuds.
