Are you excited to look for the Hot Springs in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach? These locations are quite well-hidden, though finding them ought to be one of your goals in your playthrough. That’s because they provide unique buffs, as well as allow instantaneous teleportation from one place to another.
All hot spring locations in Death Stranding 2 – Hot springs guide
Trying to find all the Hot Springs in the game can be quite a daunting task. That’s because they’re in specific areas on the world map, and you need to use a certain device to reveal their location. Here’s a quick summary:
- The first two locations–i.e. Motherhood and Heartman’s Lab–must be unlocked in sequential order.
- From there, you can unlock the remaining locations, but you need to use a contraption known as a Hot Spring Digger (more on this device later).
- Each remaining Hot Spring location grants a unique temporary buff if you bathe in it. Moreover, the Hydrologist NPC in Heartman’s Lab rewards you with unique items, too.
- You can also press and hold the Square button to “put a bucket on your head.” This lets you teleport to another Hot Spring location that you’ve previously unlocked.
- Hot Springs are a type of fast travel method in the game. However, you won’t be able to bring any of your vehicles or cargo with you, except for those that are (a) equipped and (b) in your tool rack, boot clip, or pouches.
- All other items you have on you will be left behind in the private locker of the Hot Spring’s terminal that you just used.
