Lego Monkey Palace Strategy Board Game Gets Huge Early Prime Day Discount

The officially licensed Lego strategy board game Monkey Palace is on sale for only $24 (was $40) at Amazon. The deal arrives just two days before the retailer’s Prime Day 2025 promotion begins July 8. Amazon is offering the discount to match Target’s deal from its Circle Week sale, which just kicked off July 6 and includes a bunch of seriously great Lego set deals.

Monkey Palace is a fun strategy game that turns the act of connecting Lego bricks into a fast-paced and varied strategy game for 2-4 players. Created by Bezzerwizzer in collaboration with Lego, Monkey Palace released last October and still frequently sells for its full $40 MSRP at most retailers.

The game is recommended for players ages 10 and up, but younger players with experience building Lego can enjoy the loop, too. My four-year-old regularly builds and modifies Lego Super Mario playsets, and he enjoys Monkey Palace. We have to help him at times with strategy, but that hasn’t stopped Monkey Palace from becoming one of his favorite board games.

Monkey Palace certainly isn’t the first officially licensed Lego board game, but it is the only one still in print at the moment. Older Lego board games tend to be listed for rather high prices on reseller storefronts, so it’d be wise to add Monkey Palace to your collection sooner rather than later, especially since it’s on sale for so cheap.
