Successfully completing the four power surges will spawn the mini-boss called Uberklaus, which is a Klaus robot in a mech suit. Youdo not want to kill this boss. You want to shoot the purple glowing armor pieces off his shoulders. Now, he’s vulnerable, and you can lead him to the electrified rectangle on the floor. He’ll become shocked and stuck, and this will initiate a second phase.

Uberklaus becomes possessed and a bit more aggressive in the second phase. You’ll also have waves of Klaus bots flying around and trying to explode near you. There’s no time limit here, so take your time killing the flying Klaus bots from afar.

After dealing enough damage, Klaus will leave the mech suit and fly after you. This phase also has additional flying Klaus bots flying around you, so be careful not to let them all explode around you.

Taking out this final version of Klaus will spawn a glowing purple orb and the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon will appear inside it. Grab the Gorgofex, and you can start blasting through zombies with this new Wonder Weapon pistol.

You can not Pack-a-Punch the base version of this Wonder Weapon. This weapon is needed for the main story quest, which also needs to be upgraded. The upgraded version can be Pack-a-Punched and we’ll have a full Reckoning story quest guide with the Gorgofex upgrade here.
