Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is out later this year, and according to a report, it looks like there’ll be a comfortable gap between its release and the arrival of EA’s Battlefield 6. According to French website Dealabs, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will launch on November 14. If that date is accurate, then Black Ops 7 will be launching during a relaxed window in the gaming calendar, as November is a fairly light month–for now–when it comes to new releases.
This is par for the course with Call of Duty, as it typically launches between mid-October and mid-November each year. Meanwhile, Battlefield 6 has an October 10 release date, creating a small buffer between the two military-shooter games.

Dealabs also reports that Black Ops 7 will not be available for Switch 2 when it launches and it “remains uncertain” if Activision will port the game to the new Nintendo console, despite Microsoft committing to bring the series to Nintendo hardware. The game will also reportedly have a physical launch for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
What we do know is that a “worldwide reveal” for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will take place during Gamescom Opening Night on August 19, so a release date confirmation could be likely here.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, this is the first time that Activision has ever released Black Ops games in back-to-back years, and the developers claim that this will be the “most mind-bending” entry in the Call of Duty series yet.
