Hot on the heels of its success in late 2024, Indiana Jones and the Order of Giants, a story expansion for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, sees the titular archeologist return to uncover the secrets buried deep below the surface of Rome. Publisher Bethesda also revealed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
A new gameplay trailer at Gamescom ONL showed off new puzzles and cults for Indy to contend with, along with a new serpentine friend for him to be introduced to. The Order of Giants pairs Indy with the young priest Father Ricci, who leads him to secrets hidden in Rome that pertain to Emperor Nero, the Cult of Mithras, and the promise of treasures hidden amongst a dark secret.
The gameplay looks like some of the best moments from The Great Circle, with the first-person perspective offering an intimate view of the dusty catacombs and dimly lit tombs that you’ll explore, as well as a sample of some of the dangerous puzzles Indy will have to solve to uncover the truth at the center of this generational mystery.
The story DLC for MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to launch on September 4 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. Catch up on all the best announcements from Gamescom ONL right here.
