Jump Space Heads To The Early-Access Docking Bay Next Month

Last year, Keepsake Games had to re-title its upcoming co-op game Jump Space because its previous name, Jump Ship, had trademark issues. Now, Jump Space is heading to early access next month, and the trailer for the game offers a glimpse of the interstellar adventures that lie ahead.

As noted in the trailer, early access for Jump Space will begin on September 19. The gameplay may remind some fans of Left 4 Dead and Sea of Thieves. Jump Space can bring together up to four players to act as crew members on a ship as they control and repair their vessel as needed. Outside of the ship, players can embark on space walks and explore different planets. Players can also go through the game as a solo experience, but it’s a better idea to have backup from your friends as you face the unknown.

Jump Space is solely a PvE experience, so players won’t have to worry about fighting each other in PvP battles. There will be times when players have no other options than to shoot their way out of trouble, as they can encounter enemies on-foot and while piloting the ship into combat. Keepsake Games has also noted that Jump Space will feature several “handcrafted missions with random elements,” which should make each run a unique experience.

According to Keepsake, Jump Space already has over 1 million players on its Steam wishlist. The game will only be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
