Guns are the highlight of any Borderlands adventure, and the recent Borderlands 4 State of Play gave us our deepest look yet at some of the weapons we’ll be bringing along on our Kairos adventure. We’re rounding up the coolest and weirdest guns we’ve seen so far, from giant gatling guns to guns where the gun is also the bullet, and we’ll continue to update as Gearbox releases more information about the game.

The State of Play also introduced two of the four Vault Hunters in Vex the Siren and Rafa the Exo-Soldier, we learned what exploration and movement will look like, and we got a glimpse at how the “looter” part of “looter-shooter” will work this time around.

Borderlands 4 was scheduled to release on September 23, but just before the State of Play aired, Gearbox announced that the release date would be moved up by two weeks, to September 12. It will launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC .
