Lego’s Trio Of New Fortnite Building Sets Are Up For Grabs At Amazon

The Lego Fortnite lineup has expanded with the release of three new building sets this month: Klombo (1,084 pieces), Durrr Burger Restaurant (546 pieces), and Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp (250 pieces). Unlike the four sets that kicked off Lego’s Fortnite collection, the trio of new releases are available at major retailers, instead of being timed exclusives. The Fortnite Lego collection will grow once again on August 1 with the 2,503-piece Mecha Team Leader. The Mecha Team Leader is available to preorder now for $250 and is the largest building set in Lego’s Fortnite series.

Complete Fortnite Lego Set Lineup

Lego’s Fortnite series debuted last fall with four building sets, including a large-scale Peely figure and Battle Bus playset. Most Fortnite Lego sets have retained their original prices since launch, but you can save a couple bucks on the cheapest Fortnite building kit: the 193-piece replica of the Durrr Burger is $13 (was $15) at Amazon.

As mentioned, the Mecha Team Leader definitely reminds us of the Lego Transformers Optimus Prime 2-in-1 Set. Though they share similarities as robots, Optimus can transform into a semi-truck–making it a versatile toy or display piece. Optimus is a bit shorter than the Mecha Team Leader at 13.5 inches. But it’s also much cheaper and currently on sale for $144 (was $180).
